NHC Qualifier Super Satellites Continue weekly
A chance to earn an entry to the $3 million National Horseplayers Championship held this summer in Las Vegas costs just $10 in the Last Chance NHC Qualifier Super Satellite Handicapping Contests. The weekly super satellite contests that send players to the Dec. 19 Satellite and ultimately the NHC itself are offered in the Racebook each Thursday through Saturday.

Monomoy Girl, easy winner of the BC Distaff, was sold at auction Sunday for $9.5 million to Spendthrift Farm who indicated she will return for a 2021 campaign under trainer Brad Cox who developed her into a superstar.
Cox, winner of four BC races including the Juvenile with Essential Quality, plans for two Kentucky Derby prep races this spring for that colt who was the Derby favorite in Vegas future books prior to the Breeders’ Cup. The races have not been disclosed publicly.
Bettors may get one more chance this year to play undefeated Nashville according to trainer Steve Asmussen. The Malibu Stakes, a Dec. 26 fixture for 3-year-olds on opening day at Santa Anita, is the next target. Nashville, now three for three, crushed foes in the Perryville Stakes in the opening race of the Saturday Breeders’ Cup undercard. The fractions, set on the front end, were insane with a track record final time of 1:07.89.
