It’s Handicapping Contest Season at Canterbury Park

With just 17 days until the largest Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge of the year, the $120,000 Big Ten BCBC Contest on Sept. 15, Canterbury is offering several opportunities to qualify for much, much less than the $3,000 Big Ten buy-in.

The final Big Ten Super Satellite series takes place Thursday through Saturday. A $10 entry fee provides a chance to win entry to a satellite that feeds into the Big Ten. On Sunday, a $100 satellite will be held that awards a $3,000 entry for each 30 players. Then on Sept. 10, another $100 satellite is in play.

Added recently is a satellite series, Sept. 4, 7, 8 and 10, that awards entries into the 26th annual Dog Days of Summer Handicapping Tournament, America’ first and longest running live bankroll contest.

The Big Ten BCBC on Sept. 15 has 11 BCBC entries up for grabs, more than any other contest this year. Players from across the country will be competing but on track the best score is guaranteed one of the eleven $10,000 BCBC berths.

The Dog Days is Sept. 17 and 18. It calls for a $100 entry fee and $400 live bankroll. Betting is wide open on all tracks offered over the two days, both live and simulcast.

Countdown to the Cup begins Saturday, September 24 offering a free contest with a chance to build your Breeders’ Cup bankroll!
