Canterbury Park was recently named an Official Satellite Home for the World Series of Poker’s: The Big One. Canterbury’s Main Event will be held on May 13 with single-table satellites being held May 7 – 12. These satellites could help you turn $65 into $17 Million by providing you a seat to The Official Big One Satellite.
The Big One is a $1 million buy-in poker tournament that will be held in conjunction with the 43rd Annual World Series of Poker on July 1, 2012 to benefit One Drop, an organization aiming to fight poverty worldwide by supporting access to water and raising each and every one’s awareness of water-related issues.
The WSOP’s The Big One is expected to generate one of the largest prize-pools in tournament poker outside the WSOP Main Event. The winner could win a top prize estimated to be $17 million dollars and a specially-designed WSOP platinum bracelet.
