Win Willy entered in Indiana Derby

Win Willy, owned by Jer-Mar Stables and trained by Mac Robertson, has been entered in the $500,000 Indiana Derby on Saturday at Hoosier Park.

Derek Bell has been named to ride in the 1 1/6th mile race.

Win Willy returned to the races two weeks ago following a layoff that began just prior to the Kentucky Derby when he was withdrawn for consideration after a less than perfect x-ray. The 3-year-old colt finished third in the 6 1/2 furlong sprint over Arlington’s polytrack. Robertson admitted that Win Willy was not fully tuned up for the return.
