Ending the suspense that gripped the racing world since Zenyatta’s victory in the Breeders’ Cup Classic, the 3-year-old filly Rachel Alexandra was named Horse of the Year on Monday night at the Eclipse Awards dinner in Beverly Hills, Calif.
