Each week the Minnesota Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Agency, the organization that represents trainers, grooms and owners, honors a groom in a winner’s circle presentation.
They’re the dynamic duo of the Tony Rengstorf barn. The Brothers’ Trujillo, Noel and Sergio. They are both so good at what they do, we have an unprecedented dead heat for Groom of the Week.
Noel and Sergio Trujillo are an integral part of the success of Rengstorf Racing Stable. Tony says both are extremely hard working and have tremendous attitudes. Their positivity spreads throughout the team. In addition to their hard work, both Noel and Sergio have an intuitive feel for the horses, caring for the equine athletes daily.
