Each week the Minnesota Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Agency, the organization that represents trainers, grooms and owners, honors a groom in a winner’s circle presentation.
This week the honor goes to Greg Pena.
Greg has been in horse racing for many years, working previously for trainer Doug Oliver. He currently is an essential member of the Joel Berndt Racing Stable, one of the top barns at Canterbury with more than 40 horses, including several stakes winners, in training. Berndt counts on Greg’s expertise every day.
Greg loves horses and working for Joel, as well as the camaraderie with the other members of the team.
