Another three-day week of racing begins Tuesday and runs through Thursday with a 4:30pm post each afternoon. Beginning Monday, June 29, live racing will be on a Monday through Thursday schedule.
Added this week will be spectators on track level in addition to Clubhouse and Mezzanine levels. Yes, outdoor access, limited of course but in the open air! The weather forecast is favorable for a beer and some betting under the evening sun. Advance purchase of tickets is strongly encouraged and that should be done HERE.
The Racebook is open each day 30 minutes prior to the first simulcast post. That time can change daily so please consult the simulcast calendar. Admission to the Racebook is free everyday but let us know you are coming by reserving a spot HERE.
Same for the Canterbury Card Casino: Table games action begins each morning at 10am and runs through 4am, allowing some down time for a thorough sanitization. You can make a walk-up reservation or simply let us know you are coming by using this link.
The free-to-enter Road to Kentucky Handicapping Contest in the Racebook continues this Saturday with racing from Thistledown. Hardly a conventional stop for R2K but it is Ohio Derby Day and the Ohio Derby offers Kentucky Derby points to the top three horses, so we will include it in R2K.
Here is a list of horses nominated to the Ohio Derby.
Thistledown will enter Tuesday for June 27.
