Canterbury Racebook will offer a final onsite opportunity to qualify for the $3 million National Horseplayers Championship when up for grabs is one berth to the winner of the Dec. 19 Last Chance NHC Qualifier Contest. Leading up to that event, $10 entry fee Super Satellites are offered each Thursday through Saturday.
In the Supers, entrants select one horse in each of eight races at one of the selected contest tracks offered. The weekly winners are those scoring the most points in a single contest over the three days with one $150 Dec. 19 entry awarded for each 15 entries. Entrants may play up to three times per week and as many as three entries per day. If playing multiple entries on a single day, each entry must be for a different racetrack.

Road To Kentucky Grand Prize Contest Winner
Dean Carleton of Shakopee won the Sept. 19 Road to Kentucky Grand Prize Contest with a huge score. He wins an entry to the NHC. The R2K Grand Prize Contest was limited to players that finished top two in the start-stop-restart Road to Kentucky Contest weekly contest that began in January, ceased during the COVID shutdown, and resumed in June or finished with a top eight overall score. Carleton won the Sept. 19 contest with 2,945 points, more than 1,200 better than second place, in a format that mirrored the R2K contest.
