Race 6: CHLOES MAGIC looks to be the fastest of the group after a close fourth in a stakes race at the beginning of the month. TOOTY FRUITY PEBBLES ran a respectable race in career debut and may improve off that effort. HOTT DAMM is the only one with a win in the field which does count for something.
Race 7: TRESJETDASH broke sideways in last but once she straightened out, she was rolling. A clean break today is the key. HES TUFF ENUFF was favored in last but was out-finished. Expecting top connections to have him ready today. HES RESILIENT has fast speed figures but needs to close the deal.
Race 8: TRES ELEGANCE broke his maiden at Remington and was a close second in an allowance race locally. Will be tough to catch today with a clean trip. MAUDEST MAVEN posted some nice speed figures at Sun Ray. Second start for Olmstead could signal a move forward. HIGH LIL SPIT won first-time out at a big price. Can she replicate that effort?
Race 9: CALDERS HERO is rapidly improving and was finding his best stride late so the extra 50 yards should be a benefit. BRING BACK MY VODKA is a state-bred trying open company but it’s hard to argue with the Escobedo/Olmstead combo. SW THE REDEEMER has been close multiple times but needs to cross the wire first at some point.
Race 10: RELENTLESS SEIS is 2-for-2 at the current meet and 3-for-4 with a second at Canterbury overall. The only question is the added distance. ONE KOOL DREAMER has been consistent throughout her career and fired first-time out at Canterbury this year. CORONA WHITE SOCKS best races have been against Minnesota-breds. Will need to prove himself versus open company.
Race 11: JESS ROCKET MAN is on a roll right now and seems to get better the longer they go. Is 3-for-4 racing at Canterbury. FLY MISS CORONA JESS beat the top pick at Canterbury last year but hasn’t won since. Needs to find that winning form. LIBERTI is second off the layoff and could be sitting on a top effort.
Race 12: B BOUJEE has been racing against better and may appreciate the distance and the outside post. Jockey/trainer combo win at 21% at Canterbury. MAKING A MIRACLE has won her last two but speed figures need to improve to compete against better. STREAKINLILWAGON has won five times but not sure what she was facing at Ajax.
