Week three of the 16-week Road to Kentucky Handicapping Contest in the Canterbury Park Racebook centers around the 12-race program at Gulfstream Park on Saturday. The Derby prep at Gulfstream, and for contest purposes a double-point race, is the Holy Bull Stakes. Two additional Derby preps are also part of the contest: The Withers from Aqueduct and the Robert Lewis from Santa Anita.
First post at Gulfstream and contest entry deadline is 10:50 a.m. central. The Racebook opens at 9am. Here are the R2K rules and schedule.
Congratulations to Week 2 winner Richard Kodleka. He scoops the $200 first prize. Had he also played the Bet On Yourself in R2K Contest he would parlayed his opinion into more cash. Frank LaValle did back up his R2K plays in the $10 Bet On Yourself and even though he had the ninth best score overall, his 999 points was the highest in Bet On Yourself and he cashes for $320.
