Dickey Bob, the all-time leading Minnesota-bred quarter horse money earner, won the $22,400 Bob Morehouse Stakes on Wednesday night at Canterbury Park, the fourth time in six years the 8-

year-old has won the stake. Dickey Bob, owned and bred by Lunderborg LLC, has career earnings of $417,723 and has won 25 of 52 starts. He is trained by Hall of Fame trainer Jason Olmstead and was ridden by Ramiro Garcia.
“He is finding best at age eight,” Olmstead said. “Like a fine wine, he gets better with age.”
Dickey Bob won by 2 3/4 lengths over Relentless Babe, also trained by Olmstead. Third was Western Reserve trained by Ed Ross Hardy. Final time for the 350-yard stake was 17.479 seconds. Dickey Bob paid $4.40 as the wagering favorite.
