We caught up with local trainers on Friday morning and discussed the possibility of a home-track advantage. Many offered the idea that the track was a little deeper and more tiring than the average track and that a trip over the surface makes a substantial difference. With so many competitive claimers entered for Claiming Crown X on Saturday, everyone is looking for a handicapping angle that could make the difference. Maybe one of these trainers will get a win for the home team.
