Brian Chenvert wins Del Mar Handicapping Challenge

Brian Chenvert from Rogers, MN took home first place in the Del Mar Handicapping Challenge held at the southern California track on July 31 & August 1. For his efforts, Brian receives $40,000 in addition to turning a starting bankroll of $5,000 into $10,160.

Damian Roncevich of of Honolulu, HI, made a late rally to take second place at $9,557. Second place was worth an additional $20,000 in prize money.

Five spots in the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship were at stake in the field of 44. Joining Chenvert and Roncevich are the third through fifth finishers, Corey Johnsen, Toby Turrell, and Duke Matties.
