NBCSN to Televise Wagering Program October 27

The Breeders’ Cup announced the wagering menu and post times for the 32nd Breeders’ Cup World Championships, to be held on Friday, October 30 and  Saturday, October 31 at Keeneland Race Course. This year’s wagering menu on the 13 Breeders’ Cup races features an abundance of betting opportunities including two Breeders’ Cup Ultra Pick Sixes with $1 minimum , 10-cent Superfectas, 50-cent Trifectas, Pick 3’s, Pick 4’s and Pick 5’s, a Distaff-Classic daily double and two Pick 5 wagers to open both Friday and Saturday programs.

There will be a total of 10 races (four Breeders’ Cup World Championships races) on the Championship Friday program and 12 races on Championship Saturday (nine Breeders’ Cup races). Post Time for the $2 million Longines Breeders’ Cup Distaff is 4:35 p.m. on Friday and post time on Saturday for the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic is 4:35 p.m.

Championship Friday begins at 11:30 a.m. CT with five undercard races. Champion Saturday first post is 10 a.m., and begins with two undercard stakes races.

The Official final race order and guaranteed wagering pools for both days of the World Championships will be announced on Wednesday, October 22.  The remainder of each day’s card will be set after entries and post-positions are drawn on Monday, October 26.

Each Breeders’ Cup World Championships race will feature a maximum of 14, with the exception of the Dirt Mile and the Filly & Mare Turf, which will have a maximum of 12 starters. In addition to the standard Win, Place and Show betting, there will be Exacta and Trifecta wagering on every race and rolling Pick 3 wagers and rolling Daily Double wagers beginning with the first race and continuing through all races on both Championship Friday and Championship Saturday.

There will be $1 bet minimums on Win, Place and Show wagers, and $1 minimums on all exacta wagers, the Distaff-Classic Daily Double, all Daily Doubles in addition to the two Ultra Pick 6 wagers. There will be 50-cent minimum on all Trifecta, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and Super Hi 5 wagers, and a 10-cent minimum on all Superfectas.

The takeout rates on all Win, Place and Show wagers is 16%, and the take out on all other wagers is 19%.
