JH: Moving to the United States.
CP: What’s something people might find surprising about you?
JH: Because of my last name, that I am Asian!
CP: What’s your favorite part about working at Canterbury Park?
JH: I love the customers and the money helps me support my kids with their sports and dance classes.
CP: Would you rather win an Olympic medal, an Academy Award or Nobel Prize?
JH: Olympic medal, because it’s the highest accomplishment in sports.
CP: If you could ask your pet three questions, what would they be?
JH: Are you OK? Are you hungry? Do you have to go potty?
CP: What do you want on your tombstone?
JH: Pepperoni and cheese.
CP: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
JH: To fly, so I can visit the Philippines whenever I want to.
CP: If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
JH: An eagle, because you can fly without fear.
CP: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
JH: When I was 23 I decided to pursue a better future so I moved to the United States from the Philippines.
CP: Who would you like to swap places with for a day? Why?
JH: Ellen Degeneres, because she is so funny and she helps a lot of people.
CP: Do you have a secret talent no one knows about?
JH: I make homemade egg rolls from scratch with my family.
