Jennifer Keohen, Marketing Assistant

Canterbury Park: Who would play you in a movie about your life?

Jennifer Keohen: I think Jennifer Aniston would play me for a couple of reasons. One, we are both Jennifers, which is awesome. And I think Jennifer could handle my crazy energy and outgoing spirit, as she showed in “Friends.”

CP: What accomplishment are you most proud of?

JK: This is a two-part accomplishment for me. I graduated college in three years with a marketing degree and Spanish minor while running Division II cross-country and being involved in theater and clubs. But from that and my hard work I have successfully paid off my student loans in under a year!

CP: What’s something people might find surprising about you?

JK: I have a lot of energy that I do nothing to get. No coffee, no pop, no energy boosts. Just me!

CP: What’s your favorite part about working at Canterbury Park?

JK: Getting to see the excitement on everyone’s faces during a race, trying to see if the horse they want can win the race.

CP: Would you rather win an Olympic medal, an Academy Award or Nobel Prize?

JK: I would say Olympic medal because they only take place every four years, and it takes a while to have it return to a country that has previously held the Olympics. So I could say that I’m the only one at that time and place to win.
