Herrity, Mankato resident, finishes fourth in NHC

Brian Herrity of Mankato, MN finished fourth in the 11th annual Daily Racing Form/ NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) which concluded Saturday at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas. Fourth place prize money was $40,000.
Herrity qualified for the NHC when he finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge at Santa Anita.
This year Canterbury Park will host two NHC qualifiying contests. One on Claiming Crown Day, July 24 and another in August when the 14th annual Dog Days of Summer Handicapping Tournament takes place. Super Satellites for the Claiming Crown contest are offered each Saturday.
