Stike Impact, headed to the $150,000 Claiming Crown Jewel, arrived Thursday evening from Churchill Downs and will be training over the track prior to the event.
Julien Leparoux is expected to ride trainer Mike Maker’s horses, Inca King and Headache, as well as a horse in the Lady Canterbury.
Jockey agent Pat Cucccurullo reports that Shane Sellers will have multiple mounts.
Rumor has it that riders Israel Ocampo and Daniel Centeno will be in Shakopee as well.
