Air Force National Snocross Returns To Canterbury Park

Dates set for Friday and Saturday, January 22-23, 2010

The AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series is pleased to announce the return of the Air Force National to Canterbury Park, in Shakopee, MN on Friday and Saturday, January 22 – 23, 2010. Snocross racing under the lights begins at 7:00 pm on Friday. Saturday’s action begins at 4:00 pm.

Snocross has been an annual event at Canterbury Park since 1996. The venue, unlike many others on the snocross circuit, offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it the premier host site for snocross racing in the Midwest. Last year, there was standing room only on both Friday and Saturday nights.

“The 2010 event is sure to be another crowd pleaser,” Scott Lorentz, ISOC Director of Operations said. “We have some exciting things planned for the entire weekend.”

Professional and amateur racers from AMSOIL ACSS will compete both days. Professionals race head-to-head in the pro main events on both Friday night and Saturday. X-Games competitors including Launchin Levi LaValle and Tucker Hibbert, as well as fan favorites TJ Gulla, Robbie Malinowski, and Ross Martin, will compete. The Air Force National is one of nine national events with racers competing for the title of Year-End Points Champion.

Weekend and daily ticket packages are available. Pricing discounts are available with advance purchase. Tickets are also available at the door. Parking for the event is free. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.isocracing.com or call 877-497-0823.
