The documentary film The First Saturday In May opens Friday at The Lagoon Theater. The producers of the film, John and Brad Hennegan will be guests this evening on WCCO Radio with Dark Star at 9:30pm.
Jock agent Richard Grunder confirmed that Derek Bell will be back at Canterbury this spring. Bell spent the winter galloping horses on a farm in Ocala, FL. He currently is a Prairie Meadows where he expects to ride a few before the opener in Shakopee. Grunder will also have Adolfo Morales. he broke his shoulder in January but has returned to riding in Phoenix and will be ready for action on May 3.
