Alotta Oh La La Upset Winner of $61,220 MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity

Filly breaks maiden in stakes record time of :17.658

Alotta Oh La La won the $61,220 MQHRA Stallion Auction Futurity by 1 1/4 lengths in stakes record time of 17.658 seconds on Wednesday at Canterbury Park. Trained by Mallory Norton and ridden by Stormy Smith, Alotta Oh La La paid $16.40 to win. The filly is owned and was bred by Leon Glasser of Mandan, North Dakota.

Alotta Oh La La was winless in three starts and entered the futurity final as the second fastest qualifier behind Beep Beep Rev Rev. “She’s a big filly. I knew she had ability,” Glasser said. “I just wanted a clean race.”

Glasser got his wish when Alotta Oh La La broke well while odds-on favorite Beep Beep Rev Rev, who finished fifth, started a step slow. My Candys Relentless was second and Relentless Okie was third.
