The Minnesota Racing Commission has scheduled an open forum town hall meeting for Thursday, March 2 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. at Running Aces Casino and Racetrack. All horse racing participants are invited to attend.
Discussion topics include legislative developments, the economic impact study released in February, the racehorse aftercare initiative, and backside support programs. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions about other subjects of interest as well.
MRC staff and Commissioner Dan Erhart will host the meeting. Running Aces is located at 15201 Zurich St, Columbus, MN 55025.
Future town hall meetings have yet to be scheduled but expect one to be held at Canterbury Park in the near future.
