As part of the Mystic Lake Northern Stars Racing Festival at Canterbury Park, a $25,000 trainer bonus will be offered based on performance in the June 23rd racing program. All trainers with a horse that starts in any of the races on the card are eligible.
Two (2) points will be awarded for each starter in any of the five stakes races, while one (1) point will be awarded for each starter in any of the day’s overnight races.
Additional points are awarded for finishing first (10 points), second (7), third (5), fourth (3) and fifth (1) in any of the five stakes races on June 23rd. Those stakes races include: $200,000 Mystic Lake Derby (1 Mile, Turf, 3yo), $100,000 Mystic Lake Mile (1 Mile, Turf 3&up), $100,000 Lady Canterbury (1 Mile, Turf, 3&up, f/m), $50,000 Dark Star Cup (6.5 Furlongs, Dirt, 3&up) and $50,000 Hoist Her Flag Stakes (6 Furlongs, Dirt, 3&up, f/m).

3rd $2,500
4th $1,500
5th-10th $1,000
Any ties in the standings will split prize money.
Jockeys and Jeans Fundraiser for the PDJF
In addition to the Mystic Lake Northern Stars Racing Festival, Jockeys and Jeans, an event that benefits the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, will also take place. There will be fifteen Hall of Fame riders on hand to sign autographs and support the organization. A silent auction will also be held to benefit PDJF.
