The nine-week series of Spring Tune-Up Super Satellite Handicapping Contests begin this week, culminating in the Satellite Contest April 11 that will award three entries to the 24th annual Dog Days of Summer Handicapping Contest and three entries to the Ultimate NHC Handicapping Contest, both in September.
The Super Satellites run Thursday through Saturday each week. There is a $10 entry fee for each contest with the highest individual score from each three-day contest period determining the winner. One player for each 10 entries will win a $100 entry to the April 11 Spring Tune-Up Satellite.
For this series a new rule has been implemented.
NEW RULE: Players may enter more than once per day. Players may enter up to three $10 Super Satellite contests each week choosing from Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday. Three selected tracks (eight races at each track) are offered each of the days. Players can enter three contests in one day (no more than one entry per track per day) if they so choose but total entries for a contest week cannot exceed three. Each entry is $10 per contest track with a limit of three per week.
This rule change may benefit the weekend warriors that cannot make Thursday or Friday but want to maximize their entries and those that handicap only to arrive to find races are rained of the grass or the track is muddy and scratches abound.

Basic Contest Rules:
• Select one horse in each of eight contest races. Points awarded based on a mythical $20 across the board wager.
• One player for every 10 entries from each super satellite session will win a $100 entry into the Spring Tune-Up Satellite Contest on April 11, 2020.
Cash bonus for player with highest individual score in the contest span.
