Hope for the Holidays
As we’re in the giving spirit during the holidays, we are asking for your help in giving to area families in need with our Hope for the Holidays initiative.
From Dec. 1-12, players who donate a new toy will receive 500 bonus points on their MVP Rewards Card.
If you want to give more, check out our Giving Tree, located just outside the Card Casino entrance. Grab a gift tag or two from the Giving Tree and place unwrapped gifts in boxes near the tree by Dec. 12.
Toys will be donated to the Community Action Partnership of Scott, Carver and Dakota Counties.
One of the region’s biggest and best poker tournaments will bring its season to a close at Canterbury Park this December!
The Mid-States Poker Tour, which launched at Canterbury Park in 2009, will hold its season finale here, with several satellite tournaments leading up to the $1,100 Main Event!
The $200,000 guaranteed Main Event tournament will be held Dec. 8-10 and help crown the Player of the Year!

12 Days of Christmas
During the season of giving, we’re getting into the holiday spirit.
Starting Dec. 6: Wednesdays through Saturdays until Christmas Eve we are playing Santa by giving away cash prizes, mystery envelopes and some of the season’s hottest gifts!

Overnight Holiday Cash Splash
For you late-night elves, we’re giving away more cash to select poker and table games every half hour from midnight until 4 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday from Dec. 6-23.
Free Christmas Poker Tournament
Santa will continue his run with a stop at Canterbury Park on Christmas Day, delivering free entries for our $2,100 Shootout!
The No-Limit Hold’em tournament is only open to the first 100 people in line when we reopen on Christmas Day. If you miss the cut, no problem, there will be plenty of players looking for some live poker action.
Canterbury Park will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and reopen at 6 p.m. on Christmas Day, Dec, 25.
Santa Anita Opening Day
As a belated Christmas present, one of America’s classic tracks, Santa Anita, will hold its Opening Day on Tuesday, Dec. 26!

New Year’s Eve
What better way to ring in the New Year than with fun and games at Canterbury Park?
We will be giving away $2,018 throughout the evening in Table Games, with winners every half hour from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Prizes of at least $50, and up to $150, could make your New Year’s Eve even more memorable!
