Excitement is building for the year’s most popular horse race, the Kentucky Derby.

And at Canterbury Park, we’re counting down the weeks with our $25,000+ Road to Kentucky handicapping tournament!

Prove your handicapping skills and claim your share of $25,000 as we count down to the year’s biggest horse race, the Kentucky Derby! Our Road to Kentucky handicapping tournament offers weekly and season-long prizes. Track the nation’s top horses each Saturday from Jan. 13 through Derby Day, May 5.

How it Works

Each week pick up your entry card at the information desk on club level and select your horses at the designated contest track, as well as any bonus races. Then, we tally up the points and award cash to the top horseplayers! Points are awarded based on a mythical $20 across-the-board wager.
