CANTERBURY ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

   1. A Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) signed by a veterinarian and dates within 10 days of entry.

2. A Coggins test dated within the last (12) twelve months prior to September 5, 2011. The results for each horse much be clearly marked on the CVI.

3. No horse shall be allowed to enter the Canterbury Park grounds unless a equine piroplasmosis (EP) test has been taken within 12 months of date of entry with a negative results for Theileria equi and Babesia caballi. A record of the negative test shall be attached to the Certificate of Veterinarian Inspection (CVI) and presented at the stable gate when the horse first enters the stable area.

It is strongly recommended that all horses be vaccinated against herpes, EHVI and strangles before entering the grounds.

ADMISSION

In celebration of Canterbury's 25th Anniversary, general admission is free all season long. 

SEATING

A very limited number of Restaurant and Club House tables are set aside daily, by reservation only, for horsemen running that day. PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO STAKES PARTICIPANTS, then horses running that day, then other horsemen. Reservations must be made after your horse is entered and has drawn into the race. For reservations, please call me at 952.496.6407 between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM Wednesday through Sunday. Advanced seating may be purchased for $20 per table of six by calling the Canterbury Ticket Office at 952.445.7224. THERE IS FREE OUTDOOR SEATING IN SECTION 7 FOR ALL HORSEMEN.

COMPLIMENTARY BOX SEATS

Box Seats on the Mezzanine Level are available to licensed horsemen when your horse is running, subject to availability. Check in at the Box Seat area and present your MRC License—no reservations are needed.

COMPLIMENTARY WINNING DVD'S

One complimentary DVD will be given by Canterbury Park to the winner of each race. Please pick up your DVD in the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper’s Office at the end of each race day. Additional copies may be ordered through the Horsemen’s Bookkeeper for a fee.

COMPLIMENTARY RACE PROGRAMS

Daily Race Programs are available in the Racing Office.
